1 year. A tribute to my Grandma.

A year ago today, my grandma passed away.

It's hard for me to share, but she helped raise me along with my pop-e who I talk about a lot. 

My sweet grandma was an AMAZING woman. 

She was born August 13, 1926. 

She was one of 7 children. She grew up in a rough environment, with a very abusive father.

But when she was 16 it all changed. She met my pop-e.

They fell in love, and eloped when my pop-e got back from WWII.

This is the day after they got married.

They had 5 daughters.

17 grandchildren.

22 great children and growing. 

They were married for 65 years. 

My grandma helped raise me when my mom was going to college.

She was more than a grandma to me. She was my best friend.

Her home is what I consider my home.

I love and miss her so much, and wish she was here, but I know that she is in a better place now.

He is basically my brother, and the father of the twins, 

hence why I call them my nephews! 

He turned 22 today! 

He is an amazing father, boyfriend,  brother/cousin, son, worker, and so many other things!

Update

Why hello there Monday.

1. I don't like the time change

2. I hate school.

Anyways I was somewhat over consumed with work and the teacher fair I went to last week, so I can finally update you!!!

Mill first of all is doing absolutely awesome!

I worked all week. Boo.

But I did go to the teacher fair. I feel really good about it, and I am hoping that a job comes out of it!!!

I did see the twins one day when I got off work!

They were IN LOVE with Uncle Scott....

Scott surprised me with taking me to my parent's house for Saturday and Sunday.

Milli Update: 

Well last night sadly Milli was in the cone of shame.

She was bad about licking.

She also got sick from the surgery. Broke my heart.

Let me tell you.

Today was completely different. 

She is jumping and running, but scaring me because I don't want her to rip her stitches! 

So she has to hang out by me a lot.

No Mommy Milli

So I have been so busy lately, but I promised myself I would blog today because I do seriously love it!

Today is kinda sad for me, Milli has gone into the vet to get fixed. 

This is our poor girl on the way to the vet.

I am convinced she knew where she was going!

She was whining and cuddling. It broke my heart.

I know it needs to be done, but when they took her away from me I was so sad.

Scott made fun of me. Weird.

She is my baby! 

Anyways we get to pick her up around 3 today and I am sure she will be wearing the "cone of shame" 

poor milli.
