Birthday for Papa... and a little extra

Happy Friday.

I hope you all have had a wonderful week. Mine was hectic, and I couldn't be more glad to welcome in Friday. I love Friday's because we get off work at 1.

But more importantly today is my dad (step)'s birthday!!!

He is an amazing guy, and if I was to list everything he has taught me since I was 5 years old this blog would be more of a novel. He has been not only a great dad to my sisters and I, but a wonderful husband, teacher, coach, and just all around guy.

Happy Birthday Papa P. Hope you have a fantastic day.

love you!

so a couple things I have to share from the week:

1. Alison my best Canadian friend sent Scott and I the most amazing wedding gift ever. I teared up honestly. It's a custome cutting board, that has our wedding invitation on it. Thank you again...amazing.

2. I love getting these snap chats from one of my besties. almost everyday. they make my day constantly.

3. Milli is constantly making me smile. This past week was a big basketball game. Kansas vs. Duke. I am a huge Duke fan. But a lot of my family are Kansas fans...but I had to get M in the spirit for the big game. (duke lost) still upset.

Then yesterday she literally pushed backed the curtain to look outside. Nosey much?

4. It was emotional week, and at the end of the day I just keep reminding myself how blessed I really am. Sorry for the lack of blogging, but like I said I was a little out of it.

so I am chosing happiness.

Happy weekend. xxoo

So.. I got married : )

So as stated in my post from yesterday that there have been so many changes in my life, that I am going to have to break them down, so today's post is about getting married, and tomorrow's will be too, because I just have too many cool photos to share with you!

I married Mr. Muir on August 10th, in the mountains of Wyoming. It was a dream location, and a whirlwind day! We were surrounded by tons of family and friends and it was absolute perfection.

location of our ceremony!

I got ready with my ladies at my grandparents house in Laramie, Scott and his guys got ready at the hotel. They picked us up in a party bus, which was so great to have since we had a HUGE wedding party and we could all ride together!

I made all the flowers and decorations for our big day. We went with a vintage theme, highlighting the 1920's-40's. I ordered a custom garter with Wyoming colors, and went to a local store, found earrings with the Wyoming Steamboat horse on it, and sewed them on. The girls wore Tom's and the boys wore Converse. I let my ladies pick their own dresses as long as they were mint green and shorter. Scott and I both decided we didn't like the tuxes so we went again with the vintage look, and he loves bowties so we were able to find mint plaid (plaid is his fav) for them!

First look:

(I was shaking so bad)

Playing Mumford and Sons of course!

Fly by weekend

Happy Monday! Only 3 sleeps until Vegas!! I seriously feel like a little kid I am so excited to go and have a vacation with Muir and his family! After a week of not feeling good at all, I am slowly starting to feel like myself again!

I have great news! Pop-e got through surgery great! The doctor said he wishes he could operate on people like my grandpa because he is in such good shape for 87!
He is still in the hospital for recovery, but I finally was allowed to talk to him today! Made my whole day to talk to him! It's been hard since I normally talk to him at least twice a day!

So to this weekend! I first got a great surprise from one of my good friends Alison! She sent me a Christmas gift! I am so blessed to have her in my life! I hope someday to meet in person, because she def knows a lot about me! We text/email! I love it!
She made a beautiful scarf, got me a necklace, treats for milli, a ring, and a Christmas card!

Friday after school I was so exhausted that I decided to head home Saturday morning. I decided to try to make a fancy dinner for myself. I tried cooking salmon. I love salmon. Let's just say it wasn't the best..... but the rest was delicious!

Saturday I went home to help my family since my mom was gone, and my baby sister had her winter dance. My sister Morgan and I ended up doing her hair along with several other girls. By the end of the night we were exhausted!!!
But Dylainee looked beautiful!!!

It was great to see family!!!!

(from the previous weekend)

Sunday: I just helped clean house, and do laundry so my mom could come home to a clean house. I got to see her only for a little bit, and then drove back. I only have 3 sleeps and I get to be in Las Vegas! I can't wait! The school I teach at is doing something called a winter homecoming which I have never heard of, so this week is already crazy with different schedules and what not! VACATION please!

I hope you all had a great Monday!
