Holy Monday....Mingle...and Weekend

Hello and Happy Monday! I hope your day's have been great and not the "typical" Monday!

I am going to start with my weekend rewind....

Friday: Friday was a nice day. Work was done by one. I got some errands done, and Scott's Christmas party for work was that night. It was an Ugly Sweater theme. My uncle has this great sweater that he let Scott wear, and Scott's mom had one from high school that she let me borrow. She also still had her boots from 1970 that I wore! They def completed the outfit!

It was a great time, and much needed with my husband, but since we don't go out much, we were still home by 11!

Saturday: I made breakfast for both Scott and I, and then got super excited because pop-e was on his way to our house. He was our first guest! Milli couldn't barely contain herself!

We relaxed with him, and my aunt came over. We ended up all helping baby sit the twins because their dad had his Christmas party. It was a good time! I hadn't got to see them in a while!

As you can see below they now love making faces!

I am super excited because they will be coming to Christmas in Laramie with the rest of us!

Pop-e tried out my aunt's beats and I couldn't resist taking a picture!

Sunday: We all slept in since we stayed up later talking. Pop-e def got a wake up call from his buddy.

She knew right where he was and snuggled right in.

We enjoyed breakfast, but then pop-e had to head back home. I was sad, but also knew that I would be seeing him this coming weekend for the holidays! The rest of the day my cousin Courtney stayed at our house and I literally had my arm on her belly all day. I felt baby boy kick, and move. I talked to him, played him music... Loved every minute of it.

Milli even got in on the action!

It was such a nice day. She is so much like me and it's great to just talk with her!

The weekend was awesome.

Monday: Oh helllo..... I woke up with a sore throat, but told myself no worries, this is the last week of school. Suck it up. Well I had shown up to school, and let's just say there was a ton of situations that happened that caused for a very stressful. I had a rough day. I continued to keep feeling sick. I finally got done with school, ran to the store and was so happy to be finally home after my day..and I walked in to this...

I was not happy about the two stuffed objects she tore up, but the ink is the bad part. That was our new rug for our living room. Blue ink. I am still trying to get it out. She is still in a bit of trouble.

After cleaning up Scott tried to help since he knew my day was awful, and cleaned up some stuff in the mud room. Lost his wedding ring....After us desperately looking for it. I found it wrapped in a tarp in the garage he had folded up. THANK GOD.

But through it all, even though I am still upset about a few things that have happened, I know that there is a reason for everything. Today I think it was to help me realize how much my husband and I need each other. He had a rough day as well, and through it we just hugged, and got through it. So nice to know I have married my best friend.

Soooo I'm linking up for Mingle.

Meg's question for monday was:

What are your favorite holiday traditions?
I have so many!

1. We always get to open on gift on Christmas Eve. It's always a nice, new pair of pj's to sleep in. (My grandma started this tradition with my mom and her sisters)

2. We always go bowling/ice skating for my sister's birthday which falls on Christmas Eve.

3. We open gifts on Christmas Day, go to my aunts for brunch, and usually never change out of the pj's

4. Dinner on Christmas eve.

5. We still do Santa gifts.

I just love the holidays.

Weekend, Babies (gender), and Halloween

My oh my it's Monday, and I completely spaced, and thought I had blogged since last Monday. Turns out I was wrong Happy Monday Kae. haha. Anyways so many exciting things to show and share with you!

Rewind to Halloween: So my kiddos got a Halloween Party all day. It was nice to not have to teach, but at the same time super chaotic when you have a bunch of 3 and 4 year olds in costumes running around, eating candy! It was fun! I was a spider again!!!

Some of the amazing ladies I work with!

Of course I had to go see the twins. They didn't get to trick-o-treat because it was about 30 degrees out and windy. Too cold for the sweethearts. So auntie Kae went and saw them. Cutest Buzz and Woody ever!!!!

After Scott and I went to dinner with some of the football coaches, and they came over for awhile. It was really nice to just relax.

But the biggest news.... My cousin found out the GENDER of peanut!

It's a.... BOY!!!!!!!!
(you will be able to see that haha)

Time to buy more boy stuff : )

A very eventful but amazing Halloween

Friday: I had to work and Scott had the day off. I'm not pouting. He went rock hunting in the desert.... don't ask. SUPER boring to me haha. It was a work day at work, so it was quick. The rest of the day I relaxed and then when Scott got home we just went to bed! We were so tired.

Milli did get her new collars! She looks so pretty!

Saturday: Scott and I continued to sleep. We slept in tell 11! I couldn't believe it! We then had to go to lunch with his grandma and her husband. We love Scott's grandma, but her husband is a little difficult to get a long with. After we stopped by and saw Colton, Cortnee, and the twins. Scott finally got to meet their new puppy Sawyer.

She loved her Uncle Scott.

The twins woke up and wanted to play outside!!!

I love that they were wearing the hats we bought them!!!

That evening we started to put some stuff away, and then went to bed!

Sunday: First off...LOVE THE TIME CHANGE. I felt like I got so much sleep. We watched football and kept cleaning and putting stuff away. I made cookies, and some adult cider which I found on pinterest. I highly recommend it.

Nom. Nom.

Today: Oh monday. I am glad it my relaxing time. I had a good work day, very busy, and then came home and cleaned up the hoses and yard for winter time. I started racking the yard, and got half way done before the sun went down. Now that the time change happened 5 pm makes for a dark evening.

Now I am off to finish dinner! I hope you all had a great weekend and happy monday!

Weekend..and a mingle

Hello! Happy Monday!

Was it super dark when you woke up today? It's always still dark when I do, but it was still dark when I went to work at 7:30! I was so thrown off by this all day. It made me want to curl up in a blanket and watch movies all day with Milli.

Speaking of Milli we got her results from her allergy testing, now we know what to not give her, and that she is allergic to Dust mites...ugh. Washing all the time from now on!

But onto the weekend!

Friday: As I post on Friday, we had a toddler party and Milli tried on her costume. Loved.

That night was Scott's last football game! It was so cold and they lost... sad : ( but I am glad to be finally seeing my husband finally!

Court and I at our last football game

Saturday: Scott left for his "boys weekend" so I went and picked up my bountiful basket, and kept putting stuff away around the house. That evening I went to a wedding, and the boys (twins) came over for a slumber party! they were so much fun to have, and Milli was absolutely amazing with them. Makes me so happy to know she will be great with kids, but I never doubted that!

*all three watching Finding Nemo*

Sunday: The boys woke up at 6! ha so much for sleeping in. I made them breakfast and then they went home. I watched a documentary on Marilyn Monroe (LOVE HER) called Love, Marilyn, and then I decided to get busy. I ended up painting my bathroom, and Scott's mom came and helped. After that I napped.....made dinner, and watched the documentary Blackfish. I recommend it, but I was extremely sad and angry for the whales when it was over, and sad for those who have died loving them...

Scott got home around 10, and by that time I was wiped out. night night for Kae.

Today: It was a decent Monday. The kiddos are so excited since it's Halloween, and I def share that excitement with them! We got Milli and allergy shot that should help with itching...and I went grocery shopping. While I was typing this, The Vow was on tv, and it was at a certain part that I love..so I have to share.

Makes you smile to finish up a Monday!!!!

Sorry for the randomness towards the end! Hope you all had a great weekend!!!!

Meg's mingle question: What are going going to do or be for Halloween?

I plan on being a spider again for school, and passing out lots of candy! I think I'll make hot cider and have donuts because that is a tradition my mom started :)

5 on Friday

Happy Friday!
Very glad it's finally here. I am happy to say I am not traveling anywhere this weekend, even though I do love going to see family and friends, I am ready for some time at home.

So here is a little 5 on Friday!

1. Today we had toddler's at our school, and it was there Halloween Party. I threw a quick costume together, and I liked it better then I thought I would, so it will be my costume on Halloween too!!!

2. So in Halloween spirit I tried Milli's costume on. Of course it's Disney, but I am sad Scott and I bought one that is too small, but we still had to get her in it. She was so pleased.

3. Tomorrow I have a wedding to go to, and I am helping with the twins, and then they get to come over and have a sleepover with Auntie Kae. I am pretty excited.

They were scared of the spider at first then by the end of me stopping by they were kissing it!

4. Scott's last football game is tonight. I love sports, but I am happy to be able to start seeing him more! He will be gone for a "boy's weekend" so I am soaking up anytime with him.

5. I am so excited to be home this weekend and finally get stuff put away, decorated, etc. Maybe even some more painting. ugh. haha. I am so happy that we have a house and it's starting to come together. feeling pretty dang blessed.

I hope you all have a fan-tabulous weekend!

days like today.

Happy Hump Day to everyone! ( I am saying that in the camel voice from the Geico commercial)! I am so glad today is hump day because that means tomorrow is my last day of work for this week. I truly love my job, but this week has been a tad bit rough! My kiddos are wild wild wild. Today after work too I felt like jumping through the phone at a customer service person. I don't understand why people have to be rude. Manners go a long ways. So as I was driving home from work, frustrated, I thought to myself, don't be mad...just be happy because I have so much in my life to be happy...

Here are some things that make me realize a bad day, doesn't have to set the tone for everything.

My many blessings:

*My loves*

*my sweet nephews*

*my girls and my boy*

*so funny story. It's homecoming week at the school my parents work at...This morning my mom sent me the photo above..yes that is her dressing like my dad at football....I added some photos so you could see*
*these type of things make my days*

*yep. pop-e OF COURSE*

and I have so much more. What are some of your blessings????
I hope you all had a good day, a nice glass of wine is calling my name!
