Let it snow

So as much as I hate the cold, I am really wanting an old fashioned snowy Christmas... we used to have them all the time when I was younger and I feel like in the last few years we get a few big snow storms and then it melts. Don't get me wrong in the mountains here we get a ton of snow, just not in town as much...

 

So as I still didn't feel good and took today off, I was pleased to wake up to a blanket of snow..it is still snowing which makes me happy.

 

The only thing that doesn't...is that its supposed to be artic temps tomorrow... warnings are coming out like crazy.

 

 

 

I got to relax all day, and ended up resting and watching Love Actually all day. and when I say all day, I mean all day. Milli and I snuggled and I am finally feeling human again.

 

I came home to my husband shoveling the walks and making sure I had gas in my vehicle because he said he doesn't want me outside more then I have to be! Milli joined him in her coat...! She wanted to attack the shovel!

 

 

I adore both of them!

 

 

So on a cute note, the song Let it Snow keeps playing since I have my Christmas music on, and I have a cute story. My pop-e proposed to my grandma at Christmas time in 1945. The song playing when he did...Let it Snow.... I love hearing that song. They eloped on Jan. 12. They were married 65 years before my grandma got ill and passed. Love that song.

TGIF!!! So happy it's Friday, even though it's a SNOWY, yes SNOWY Friday.

1. This is what we woke up to today. Excuse my narrating! 

I love winter, but I am not ready for it yet. Fall is my favorite and I feel like I only got two days of it. insert sad face. Hopefully it will come back for a little bit! 

2. My sweet cousin Courtney is pregnant and I couldn't be more excited for her!!!! She is like a sister to me! Baby is due in March and she finds out on Halloween the gender of the baby! 

3. Milli loves Grey's as much as her momma. This was her last night as I watched!!!!

4. I love F. Scott Fitzgerald's writing! I can't get enough of it, and found these quotes on pinterest the other night! love! 

5. And I found this the other night on pinterest also. I forget how great this movie was!!!

2 Snow Days, the Interview, 4 months

Well I got my wish! Not only did we get a snow day yesterday, but one today too! Trust me, I am one HAPPY girl. Milli is loving the snow and the fact that I am actually home. 

We haven't done barely anything eventful. Watch a ton of movies and eat. That is is about as productive as our days have gone. I am sad to go back to school tomorrow, but at least it's already Thursday.

Muir's interview was today. I think it went well, he is pretty apprehensive about it. He says he doesn't think he did as well as he could, but I am sure he did great. I hope we find out soon! In the mean time, we have been facetiming a lot haha! 

So fingers are crossed....

Lastly, I realized that today is the 10th...which means... exactly 4 months tell our wedding day!

AHH! Crazy! It's getting close!!

Why hello there Friday. 

I am very happy you are here. 

But I have a bone to pick with the weather.

A very sad tragedy happened in the town I graduated high school from. 

Some kids who are my sister Morgan's age (and her friends) were drinking and driving, and 2 of them passed away, and the other 4 are pretty badly injured, specifically one boy. 

So as ironic and as sad as it is...it makes you want to be with the people you love. So I planned to go home after school... 

ENTER SNOW.

Thank you for deciding to start blizzarding an hour before I was supposed to leave. 

Plans have been put on hold, so I am going to try in the morning..

I have wedding plans to do with my sisters!

Why hello Snow..I mean Friday...

Happy Friday!!!! 

So glad you are finally here. You always leave too soon, but I am always glad to see you..

Well currently..it's snowing...yes snowing...

Well I guess Fall didn't want to stay long :( 

But on a happy note, I am heading home this weekend to watch my dad coach and it's my baby sister's homecoming...so excited to see her all dressed up!

Today was a cold, snowy day in Spearfish.
