Hello Monday, can it be Friday please?
So it's only Monday, but today was so busy for me that I feel like it was the end of the week...
but to understand more of my stress, I have to reveal my secret(s).
1. Scott and I decided to move the wedding up...August 10th of this year!
We were having a hard time planning a winter wedding, with where we live, and just the fact that a lot of people weren't available..so we changed.....
2. Last Tuesday, I resigned my job here at AHS.
This was a decision that I had came to somewhat before I got engaged, but after becoming engaged, Scott and I sat down, and decided we are going to try to make our lives somewhere else together.
This year hasn't been an easy one for many reasons, but hopefully I will find a new teaching job.

Okay, so now that you know that....
Today, tennis season starts. Well my administration decided that I needed to coach tennis. I love coaching, but I will be honest I am somewhat stressed because I never, ever have played tennis, and never even lived in a town that had tennis. So I have been trying to get everything ready for that.
Enter stress two: finding a wedding venue.
stress three: job applications
stress four: normal teaching duties that need to be done.

ReplyDeleteSecond of all, just try and remain as calm as you can. If you freak out, it will get that much worse. I know it's easier said than done. And, the good news about the teaching stuff is that you know really early so you can start looking and applying, so that when jobs become available, your name and info is already in the mix.
