Pumpkins!

Happy Tuesday!

So tomorrow is HALLOWEEN, which is my favorite holiday..

I am super sad to not be dressing up this year :(...but next year for sure.

Last night I decorated pumpkins...

a little secret about me.. I am allergic to the "guts" of the pumpkin...

breaks out my arms something awful...

So since it was just Milli and I last night...

I painted my two pumpkins!!!!

I am pretty excited about how they turned out!!!!

Anyways quick post, I am running a tad bit behind this morning!

Good Morning! 

I thought that picture was perfect for me to remember each day I am in a place that I don't want to be.

I had a pretty nice weekend. 

I went home after conferences Thursday night, which conferences was sooooo BORING. 

Anyways, I got to see my family, pop-e, aunts... it was so nice waking up one morning and hearing the sounds of my family talking...

Seriously BLISS. PERFECT.

We drank coffee, and went out to eat.. I was seriously so sad to come home last night, but I also bought this over the weekend..so it does cheer me up a bit ;)

Haha, yes I am dork. How was your weekend? 

Things you love...

This week has been a stressful week...not only have I been coaching two sports, but my good friend Hope (the one I had a girls weekend with) found out her brother who was only 27 passed away. I knew him, and it still just shocking and heartbreaking. I feel so much sadness for the family, and wish I could do something to help.

It got me thinking though. How much do we take for granted... ? I know that there are many times that I get angry at my family or Scott, and I think I say things at times that can be so hurtful, and I probably do it because you seem to hurt the ones you love the most...

How wrong is that? 

This week I spent so much time thinking about how much I am blessed, and need to make sure I let the people I love know how much they mean to me!

My sweet M has reminded me how blessed I am. 

I went to take a picture to send to Scott, and she licked my face, which turned into my new favorite picture.

So maybe take time to tell those you love them... I know that I am so excited to go home tonight after conferences to see my family....

Happy Tuesday!

I am happy to see you Tuesday...Monday was cruel. 

I not only had to be at two practices to coach, but I had to cover double PE classes all day. 

NEVER AGAIN. 

Today is the last volleyball game, and it is bittersweet for me! 

I am looking forward to what will come this year.

Anyways, I want to say how grateful I am for the friends (TRUE) I have been blessed with. 

For example, Alison sent me a care package, and it literally made my week! 

She got me a beautiful shirt, ring, a wall decal, napkins from Canada, and a gift for Milli!

I am so blessed, and THANK YOU again Alison!

Weekend Recap

Ohhhh Monday...how I dislike you...

On a higher note, only 3 days this week with students, we have parent-teacher conferences on Thursday, which I am somewhat nervous for! 

Friday we have off, and M and I are headed to see pop-e bear! Can't wait!

Well Friday...this girl was LAME.

In bed by 8:30...yes I know..I am wild....you might have to hold me back.

Saturday we had varsity volleyball, and then Hope and I had a girls night. It was nice, Milli and her dog Beya played tell they were both passed out, and Hope and I just talked.... 

Yesterday I made a trip home, because shopping in this town is sooooooo EXPENSIVE. 

So I got to see my family, grocery shop, and help decorate the house for Halloween! 

I am decorating tonight at my little place. Pretty excited!!!!

I love the way the house turned out!

I am very happy it's Wednesday, and the week is half way over.

My girls lost last night :( but we play again tomorrow so hopefully we can rebound and get a W!

loving that I received my first apple from a student today. She is a doll. I call her my daughter, and she is a great student and athlete! 

loving that I start coaching junior high basketball next week. I do wish I had a break in between volleyball and basketball, but what can you do... Basketball has always been my passion, and I guess you could say that it was sport.

loving this song. Please excuse the couple curse words. but I can't get enough of this song and LOVE the beat.

loving that soon I will have just a weekend alone with Scott and Milli pie. 

loving that this weekend I am having a girls weekend with Hope. She coaches with me and we also have known each other since we were 15.

Busy...

Hello bloggers!!!

Oh man, I feel like this week is so busy already! 

My weekend was absolutely a blur. 

Scott got here Thursday night while I was away at a game. Friday night we had to chaperone the homecoming dance..let me say..there are almost no words for that experience. I defiantly owe Scott for being such a good sport about the whole situation. 

We didn't get home tell almost 1 in the morning, we went straight to bed, got up went to a college football game, left during the 3rd quarter, went and saw my family. 

Sunday we slept, Scott worked on homework, I did laundry, and then we had to head back to Alliance.

I felt like I really got no quality time with him, so we agreed that next time we see each other, it is strictly a Kae and Scott + milli weekend. 

This week I have a volleyball game tomorrow, and Thursday. Varsity has a tournament Saturday. whoa. I am tired just thinking about it.

So anyways.... I think I have somewhat figured out possibly what I want to do with my future. I have shared some about how my first year of teaching has been to say the least a little bit rough...I am slowly figuring out how to be happy while I am in a bad situation. I think I may be figuring out my next move..which makes me nervous, but also gives me something to get me through my rough days.

Why hello Snow..I mean Friday...

So glad you are finally here. You always leave too soon, but I am always glad to see you..

Well currently..it's snowing...yes snowing...

Well I guess Fall didn't want to stay long :( 

But on a happy note, I am heading home this weekend to watch my dad coach and it's my baby sister's homecoming...so excited to see her all dressed up!

October. My favorite.

Oh October! 

My favorite month!! Fall is my favorite season, and for some reason I have always loved October.

This weekend was good, except I am home sick today from school... I think its the flu....

Anyways back to the weekend. I went and picked up my sister and we ran and gave our dad a huge at this football game.... I ended up taking this photo as he walked up to us..I love the lighting..

Then Morgan and I went to Laramie to help take care of my pop-e.

He had surgery last week, and seriously is doing amazing for being 86, but I just wanted to be there to help him, so that he recovers correctly... 

We took walks around the block, watched the Hunger Games since I got him to read the books last year, and Milli seriously wouldn't leave him alone.

She loves her pop-e.

She even went and climbed into bed with him in the middle of the night, and I didn't know it...sneaky little M.

Laramie was seriously beautiful this weekend... I didn't want to leave...
