Feel good

HELLLLOOOO... so as I was typing my post last evening my computer decided to freeze and shut down. It was so aggravating due to the fact that I love my computer and it was the last thing my grandma and pop-e got me before my grandma passed away, and the thought of possibly having to get a new one breaks my heart. So I am going to continue my post from last night!

(I have spinning class in an hour and I thought this was appropriate and funny)

Today I a thinking of feel good things... Once I got home from work I came to find a surprise... 

My mother being the a best mother ordered me a subscription to Self magazine. She said she knew how hard I am working and trying to get back into shape..and she thought it would help me stay motivated. My mom isn't amazing because she ordered me it, but because she is just amazing. She is so encouraging and works so hard herself. I am so beyond blessed to be able to have her as my mommy!  

I just saw this quote the other day, and I thought it was so great, because I have a horrible habit of obsessing and getting upset over past events... 

I also am super excited, it has been a difficult week at work, and I am so happy that tomorrow is just a work day, and I am done by 1.  yaya! well with that note it is time for me to get ready to go work out.

Power on...power off...

hello there bloggers. 

I sit here with the power going off...power going back on.. We are in a blizzard warning, well let me rephrase that, the blizzard is here. All I have to say is with all this crappy weather, this girl is hoping for a snow day...I know, I know a girl can wish eh? 

My weekend was pretty low key. Mr. Muir was supposed to come visit, but he ended up not being able to...kinda bummed its going on 2 months without seeing each other. So I ended up finishing my book, which I highly recommend. Amazing read.

I ended up being SUPER lazy Saturday, I didn't even change out of my pj's eek! My friend Casey stopped by on her way to the airport..she was heading to Vegas....Jealous! 

It was nice to see her. After she left M and I watched some of my favorite shows ALL day. 

Sunday I woke up early, and decided that I needed to do something. I drove to my mom's picked her up and we had a day of shopping. It was so much fun. It was just her and I and it was great to spend the whole day with her. I seriously was having the worst time leaving last night to drive back here....

That was my weekend! haha! I do enjoy low key weekends though. 

But pray for a snow day, and also Mr. Muir has a job interview Wednesday! We really need this one! 

A little bit of everything

So...I started work Friday night.

It went well, except for the fact that I found out I don't get any of the tips until I'm done "training". 

Me = NOT HAPPY

I have done this type of work for 4 years, so I don't think I should have to be trained that long.

Sorry..I had to vent for a quick second.

Saturday I worked a couple hours, but then hung out with my family.

It was graduation here in our small town, but I felt like staying in.

Milli was quite the entertainer this weekend...

Sunday was mommy's day! So my sisters and I put out her gifts for her to see in the morning!

I got the idea for the basket off pinterest of course!

It was a great day to hang out with my mom!

We watched The Vow which made me want to MARRY Channing Tatum NOW!

So even though things are on the outs between Scott and I, I still want to be civil..and he is still Milli's dad...

Today is Scott's birthday.... he is 29.

I want to wish him a very happy day!

I start my summer job tonight, and I am just slightly nervous.... that may be an understatement. 

I tend to be a perfectionist, so I hope I do good!

I also thought I would do a tribute to my amazing mother since this Sunday is mommy's day!

My mother is so awesome, she was a single mom with me for about 5 years, she went to school, worked and raised me. She is my best friend. Seriously. I call her about 4 times a day when I don't live with her.

She is an art teacher, and she just finished her Master's in Art. Love Love Love her!

Home!

So I am officially home. 

I got home Friday afternoon, and my pop-e even drove over too see us for the weekend!

It was really nice, but like when you move anywhere it was some what hectic. 

Milli is in her adjustment stage of the move. She gets to run around and be outside all day, but she now has learned to bark..... I am not a happy momma about that.

But first off I want to say CONGRATS to my momma!

She graduated with her Master's in Art Education!

I am so proud of her! She is awesome!

I spent all day yesterday cleaning my old room, and getting it organized... I am so glad it is done! 

I even applied for a summer job today, so I feel a little positive today!
