Monday!! BIG DECISION REVEALED!

hey to all my lovely followers! 

So I thought today I would give an update from my weekend. Even though I am starting to feel like my weekends aren't weekends anymore. I work all weekend, and I work nights which makes it hard to enjoy things such as BBQ's, time with family and friends and Scott. I am not going to lie, I am a little depressed over this. (sorry I had to complain a little because I am feeling my summer isn't summer as of right now) 

Friday-----> I wasn't feeling very well, so I basically was a lazy bum all day. I got ready for work, and was hoping it would be a slamming night....not so much. I think due to the nice weather, it was slow. I had all my side work done by 10. We close at 10 haha, so needless to say I got home early, and seriously crashed out. Scott watched the hockey game with some buddies and went out. 

Saturday-----> After doing nothing productive Friday, I decided to sleep in a little bit, and I got up and decided to lay out on the deck. (with sunscreen of course) I was happy to say I have noticeable tan lines from my swimsuit! YAY! Well Saturday was a little bit better of a night. I was happy to say I actually walked out with some good tip money! YAY! 

Sunday----> Well I had to work earlier on Sunday then normal. I walked in and a girl I work with said I already had 3 tables. I had taken 10 tables with in an hour and a half. Usually Sunday nights are dead, but we got packed last night, and I had a section that is normally covered by 2 people to myself. It kinda kicked my butt, it was worth it. Walked out with full pockets! I am not going to lie, I let myself go get ice cream after that! 

Alright, so enough about my boring work weekend! Now time to reveal my big decision! So I have been talking in the past months how hard it has been for me to find a p.e. teaching job. Due to budget cuts and applicants being over 100 for each job, its hard. I started to feel like a failure because I couldn't find a job. So I did some thinking. And after talking with my parents (who are both in education) I decided to go back to school in August and pursue another endorsement! I am going to get a English endorsement and a health minor. P.E. is still my passion, but at least I have something else to fall back on and will be more marketable...hopefully! So what do you think???? Right decision? Also to add more to this decision I have decided to get my other endorsement at a different school. I have lived in this town before and loved it. Here is the big bonus....its where Scott goes to school too! So that means....NO MORE DISTANCE! I have decided to get my own place, and found out I got the apartment I wanted! So to my sweet blogging friends whose opinions do matter to me...I would love to know what you think about my big decision?!!???

Friday Confessional (Very Lucky Day)

I confess that exactly one year ago today, I was in an extremely bad car wreck. It was flooding really bad around here last year (it is again this year) but I was in a wedding in Nebraska. Well the drive was about 8 hours, so I decided after I got off work I would drive 4 hours to my mom's, and then get up in the morning and drive the rest of the way. I kept having a bad feeling and even told Scott I did, but he told me everything was ok. Well it was about 9:30 at night and I was only 8 miles from my mom's town. I was going only about 45 mph because the speed limit was 55 and it was raining. Well I came over the top of a hill and saw that the canal had over flown and was about a foot deep across the road. I had no time to hit my break. I knew then it was going to be bad. I hydroplaned, and when my car hit the dry pavement it flipped my car 5 times before stopping. I was conscious during the entire thing, and as soon as my car hydroplaned I let go of the wheel and covered my head because I looked up and saw my sunroof coming at me. I kicked myself out of the car. I somehow found my phone in the field, and called my parents. I went into shock after that. I walked away with only glass in my head and hands, and some bad bruising. I was told that I shouldn't even be alive, so to walk away unharmed is a miracle. I know someone upstairs was looking out for me. I confess I am so THANKFUL to be alive. Here is my wreck pictures below. I have never posted them before, so this is a first. 

 I confess that I wish could just sleep this entire day and didn't have to work all weekend, but I am thankful for the summer job.

I confess that I am so glad I found the blogging world! Some of you ladies are becoming friends and I am so glad I am getting to know you better not through just blogging, but also emails! Its a great world and love it!

I confess that I am constantly worrying that people are mad at me. I always am worried about making someone upset, and that people don't like me! I am trying not to be so worried, but struggling with it! 

I confess I am having bittersweet feelings about my birthday next Friday. I turn 25 and not going to lie at times my life isn't exactly where I thought it would be at 25.

Thankful Thursday!!!

so I am sad I missed yesterday's WILW, but my day was somewhat hectic. My mom, Aunt Susan (from Nevada), and Pop-e came to visit me for the day! I was so excited, and very sad when they left. So today's Thankful Thursday will include what I am loving too! Link up with Rebecca! She has a great blog! 

I'm thankful for my mom, Aunt Susan and Pop-e coming to visit. I also got to see the twins which always makes me happy. 

I'm thankful for a couple days off of work. I love my job, but it was nice to somewhat relax, but I am also thankful for the good tips I have been making! Helping out my bank account big time.

I'm thankful for the giveaway gifts I won! I will post pictures wearing them ASAP!

I'm thankful for all the AMAZING followers I have! You are all great! I also would love to know if I can make my blog more interesting, I would love to gain some more followers. (no I am not desperate, I promise)

I'm thankful for my amazing boyfriend. He is so great and I am so lucky!

So today I received my giveaway prize in the mail, and I am not lying I ran around the house like a little kid I was so excited! Thankful Thursday!!!

Hey everyone! I am joining Rebecca for her first link up of "Thankful Thursday." Everyone should check it out and I am way excited to be joining this link! 

I'm thankful for my summer job. It is nice to be able to start feeling a little more secure with the whole paying bills being an adult thing haha!

I'm thankful for my amazing sisters! I am one lucky girl. Also my stepsister is pregnant and having a baby girl due on July 4th. 

I'm thankful for my decision I am making in August....more details to come! As of right now I will have to keep you in suspense!

I'm thankful that I had a day off today because I happened to get sick from some medicine last night and it was nice to sleep and get better today. 

I'm thankful that for the amazing family and friends I have. Including my blog buddies! I love you all! 

I'm thankful for Dallas. She is Scott's dog, but I have come to adopt her as my own haha. I love her so much, and she always is so sweet. This morning when I wasn't feeling good, she came and laid with me. She is a sweetheart. She is also my workout buddy and we are going to start our runs again soon! 

And lastly I am thankful for Scott. He is such a sweetie. He took me on a date last night and it was so nice to spend time with him since our work schedules don't work together! 

what i'm loving wednesday!

hey everyone! I hope everyone's wednesday is going wonderful! i'm linking up with Jamie for another WILW. 

I'm loving that I got to see my precious pop-e today. We only got to meet for about a half an hour, but I love any time that I get with him.

I'm loving that Scott and I are going on a much needed date to "The Hangover 2" tonight. I am excited to spend some time with him because our work schedules do not mesh well together.

I'm loving the twins of course!! They are just so precious!
